You play as a spirit who has been resurrected into a mechanical body and sent to a wasteland planet to build habitats for other spirits. Receive contracts for building habitats from your employer via your computer, explore the ruins around your construction van, and gather resources to make your habitats. Created as part of My First  Game Jam Summer 2023.

We recommend downloading the Windows or Mac version, as some of the visuals are not supported in the browser version.  If you do play in the browser, you may want to rebind your controls, as Control + W is a browser hotkey for closing the tab.

Thanks for checking out our game and we hope you have fun playing it!

Really Enjoyable!

I initially was a little frustrated, but then appreciated the lack of hand-holding when it came to figuring out what material is used where, and how exactly to build and submit habitats.

The world is beautiful and relaxing. The soundtrack and effects were also very soothing, almost ASMR, especially the metal cubes.

The E button is a little buggy as to when it decides to work, and I accidentaly destroyed my first habitat. Perhaps the controls need a little more..responsiveness?

The escape button used to exit menus also removed the full screen because of the web-gl player.

the typing in the emails was a fun idea.

All together a great way to unwind!

Pretty fun game! Lots of potential. I loved seeing the barren wasteland turn into a small town after adding a few habitats. Awesome work, awesome music, and such a unique story (as short as it was).

Edit: If I had more time today, I totally would have placed habitats in crazy locations like on top of the big tower.

I couldn't do anything because of a visual bug. Everything was blue and I just wandered around aimlessly for 10 minutes before quitting. It does look like you put a lot of effort into this game, but I couldn't experience it because of this bug. Overall wouldn't recommend putting a wall of text as instructions, but the music and menu were really nice.

Thanks for playing! Sorry about the visual bug, We tried testing the game on multiple computers and Macs and we never encountered anything like that.

We would have preferred to have a better tutorial over providing a wall of instructions, but we didn't have the time to design and implement it in the timespan of the Jam. We decided that verbose instructions were better than nothing.

I'll pass your compliments onto our composer, he did great work!
